A Solutions Partner is a different, firm-level designation for agencies with a track record across multiple clients, with its own tiers (Ruby, Diamond and similar). It's listed publicly in ClickUp's own consultant directory, and it's an ongoing status rather than a one-off exam: staying listed means staying active and current on the platform.

What is a ClickUp Solutions Partner?

Solutions Partner is a separate, firm-level programme for agencies rather than individuals, with tiers based on scale and track record across multiple client engagements. It's aimed at larger consultancies with several consultants on staff, not a solo practitioner working directly with each client. Neither status is inherently "better" — they answer different questions: is this person individually vetted, or is this firm operating at scale.

What does "vetted consultant" mean?

This is the newer term, tied to ClickUp's Alliances and Channels Ecosystem (ACE) — a partner ecosystem covering Solutions Partners, vetted consultants and alliance partners, giving customers a way to connect with participating partners directly through ClickUp's own directory. It sits alongside Verified Consultant status rather than replacing it.

What does "ClickUp trained" actually mean?

This is where it gets murky. Anyone can complete ClickUp's free public training content and call themselves "ClickUp trained" — there's no independent check behind that phrase, and it isn't the same as being reviewed and listed by ClickUp itself. It's worth asking directly: trained through what, and checked by whom?

How to tell which one you're actually talking to

• Ask for their listing in ClickUp's own consultant directory at clickup.com/consultants — if they're Verified, it will be there, searchable by name
• Ask whether they're an individual Verified Consultant or part of a Solutions Partner firm, and how many people would actually work on your account
• Ask for two or three real workspace examples from businesses similar to yours, not just a portfolio page
• Treat "trained" or "certified" claims with the same scrutiny as any unverified credential — ask what the training actually involved
