Hire a Zapier consultant who asks why you do it that way

Hundreds of automations built. Thousands of hours handed back. One client went from three hours of admin a week to fifteen minutes. Let's find yours.

But what does Zapier automation actually look like?

It can be anything and every task that winds you up. Want to smash your keyboard on your head because you thought you copied and pasted the details and now you have to redo it? Mate, use Zapier.

What does a Zapier consultant actually do?

Fair question. Mostly: I find the jobs eating your week, work out which ones a computer should be doing instead, and then build it so it keeps working after I've gone.

Find the time sinks

The copy-paste between two apps. The invoice chased by hand. The thing one person does every Friday that nobody else knows about.

Map it before building it

Out comes the Miro board. You get a Loom walking you through it. Nothing gets built until you've seen the shape of it.

Build it properly

Native integrations where they exist, APIs and webhooks where they don't. One step or eight paths and seventeen steps.

Hand it over

You own it. It's your Zapier account, your automations, documented so you're not tied to me forever.

My approach

Sometimes clients hand me a list of automations they want. Sometimes they've no idea. Sometimes they've seen something online, or asked ChatGPT.

Either way, the Miro board comes out and we map it. Then a Loom, so you can review it properly rather than nod along on a call.

But I'll always challenge the process first. I'll ask why you do it that way, and why we couldn't do it this way instead. Automating a bad process just gets you a faster bad process.

You're in safe hands

I've built hundreds of automations. Genuinely too many to count.

Freelancers and large businesses. Fire safety to YouTube production. Sales leads to invoicing. Calendar bots to AI PAs.

The questions I get asked most

How much does a Zapier consultant cost in the UK?

It depends entirely on what you're building — a single zap and a seventeen-step chain across eight paths are not the same job. The discovery call is free, and you'll get a mapped workflow out of it whether or not you hire me, so you can find out what yours would involve before spending anything.

Do I need Zapier if I already use ClickUp?

Sometimes not. ClickUp's own automations handle a lot inside ClickUp. Zapier earns its place the moment work has to cross between tools — ClickUp to Xero, a form to your CRM, an email to a job sheet. I'm a ClickUp Verified Consultant as well, so I'll tell you honestly which one your problem needs.

What size business do you work with?

Freelancers and sole traders through to teams of around fifty. Admin is admin — a one-person band losing an evening a week to invoicing has the same problem as a fifty-person firm, just a smaller version of it.

Who owns the automations once they're built?

You do. They live in your Zapier account, under your control, documented. If you want to take it in-house or hand it to someone else later, nothing stops you. Automations you can't access aren't an asset, they're a hostage situation.

What happens if a Zap breaks?

They do break — an app changes its API, someone renames a field. The difference is whether it's built to fail loudly or quietly. I build in the error handling so you find out from a notification rather than from a customer three weeks later.

Are you actually in Norwich?

Yes. Norwich-based, working with businesses across East Anglia and the rest of the UK. Even the world. Automation work is remote by nature, so where you are matters a lot less than whether we get on.
