ClickUp Brain

ClickUp Brain is ClickUp's built-in AI. You can ask it questions about your tasks, Docs and Chat, get a summary of a long thread, draft an update or have it help create tasks and automations.

Because it reads your Workspace, it can answer things like what's blocking this project, using your real data.

Automatic AI features, like Super Agents, AI Automations (once called Autopilot Agents) and AI Fields, use AI Credits. Credits are shared across the Workspace. On paid plans they reset each month, and Free Forever gets a one-off allowance of 500 that doesn't reset.

Brain is only as good as the workspace it reads. If tasks have vague names and Docs are out of date, its answers will be too.

So I tidy first: clear naming, statuses that mean something and one place for each type of information. Then I show the team three or four Brain prompts that save them time every week, like summarising a client's open work before a call.
